MCP Fixings is a part of the multi-billion-pound SIG plc and has been trading since 1970. MCP Fixings supplies over 9,000 different products across the construction and manufacturing industries, with external and internal salespeople driving our success. We have over 300 suppliers, so customers can rest assured that if they need it, we can source it.SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products.  We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hybrid Account Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, analysing sales data, and collaborating with colleagues both internally and externally. These customers will be in the engineering, manufacturing, building and civil engineering trades.We welcome applications from those with experience in the fixings industry and graduates of business or marketing backgrounds, but don't worry if you come from a different field – as long as you can prove your business acumen and nous, we want to hear from you!What does the role involve?•    Customer Account Management: Build strong relationships with our customers through regular communication and understanding their applications.  Visit customers using our pool of vehicles and see where we can grow their account. We want you to make sure they're happy and satisfied with our service and find ways to improve sales.•    Order Processing: Handle the entire order process like a pro – from accurate and timely order entry to tracking and coordinating deliveries. Your organisational skills will shine here!•    Sales Data Analysis: Dive into sales data and trends, analyse the numbers, and uncover opportunities for account growth. Your insights will help shape our sales strategies.•    Collaboration: Teamwork makes the dream work! Work closely with colleagues within the SIG Group to provide a seamless customer experience and share valuable market insights.•    Continuous Learning: Embrace a culture of learning by partaking in training and education which we will provide to get you up to speed with fixings and their relevance to other products sold within SIG.The successful candidate will require:•    Knowledge of engineering fasteners and/or construction fixings preferred.•    Previous experience within the fasteners/fixings and/or the construction industry•    Graduates from a business or marketing background are welcomed, but a degree isn’t essential.  We are open to graduates from all areas who can demonstrate their business acumen and nous.•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with customers and colleagues effectively.•    Sharp analytical skills with a knack for data analysis to uncover opportunities for growth.•    Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.•    A team player who can thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.•    Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.•    Previous experience in sales or account management is advantageous but not essential.In return we offer:•    Competitive salary with annual pay award and staff recognition schemes•    25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
