Day to Day of the Role:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in History (KS3) and Geography (KS3-KS5) that ignite curiosity and encourage critical thinking.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the humanities curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to school events, enriching the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- In-depth subject knowledge in History and Geography.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
