HR Business Partner

- Length of role: 1 month rolling temporary contract.
We are seeking two experienced HR Business Partners to join our team temporarily, starting in September. This role is crucial for providing support during a period of increased activity due to sickness absence and the return of schools from the summer break. The ideal candidates will have a robust understanding of NJC/School Teachers' terms and conditions and experience in supporting managers across a broad range of HR disciplines.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide comprehensive HR support across various disciplines including absence management, conduct, grievance, capability, flexible working, pay, and terms and conditions queries.
- Offer advice and guidance to managers across the council and Headteachers, ensuring effective HR practices in line with organisational policies and regulations.
- Work collaboratively within a team of 6 HR Business Partners to manage and resolve HR issues effectively.
- Engage with stakeholders to foster strong relationships and support the implementation of HR strategies that align with organisational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of NJC/School Teachers' terms and conditions.
- Ability to handle a wide range of HR issues in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
