A position has arisen at a London based University for a HR Business Partner to support the development and retention of Talent to meet organisational needs. Work collaboratively with P&OD and key stakeholders across the organisation to develop, implement, and deliver strategic workforce plans that provide the talent, skills, resource, and diversity required.
- Oversee the process of Change Management within the University and lead the change management team, reporting to Directors
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders across the University to understand their current and future Talent needs and design and deliver initiatives to deliver these
- Lead the development and implementation of workforce plans that are aligned to the Talent strategy and are designed to meet future demand and strategic objectives
- Carry out and manage a high rate of complex Employee Relations casework
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation including Planning and BI and Finance, to ensure a holistic approach to strategic People planning
- Analyse organisational and industry data and insights, to assess and review the impact and ongoing appropriateness of workforce plans and their effectiveness in meeting
- Ensure workforce plans are inclusive and are focused on achieving our equality and diversity goals and championing equal opportunities in all ways of working
- Work proactively with the organisation and the People & OD function, to identify opportunities for initiatives that support the delivery of the People Strategy and in particular the development of talent and workforce planning.
- Acting as a strategic partner and coach to develop effective working relationships, influence, and challenge senior managers to enable them to effectively deliver their strategic objectives.
The successful candidate must have:
- A CIPD (Level 5) or higher qualification
- Higher Education experience is essential
- Strong experience in Employee Relations and Change Management
- Strong Excel experience
