Human Resources Business Partner

  • Hourly Rate: £20.19 PAYE
  • Location: Warrington
  • Job Type: Office-based, Interim
  • Hours: 37 hours per week

We are seeking two experienced Human Resources Business Partners to join our local authority team in Warrington. This temporary position is to provide support during a period of team sickness absence, starting from September. The role is ideal for candidates with a background in advising on NJC/School Teachers' terms and conditions and a broad range of HR disciplines.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide HR support and advice to managers across various HR disciplines including absence management, conduct, grievance, capability, flexible working, and pay and terms and conditions queries.
  • Work closely with a team of 6 HR Business Partners to deliver effective HR services.
  • Offer guidance to council managers and Headteachers, supporting them through contracts for service with schools, particularly during the busy return period after the summer break.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner.
  • Knowledge of NJC/School Teachers' terms and conditions.
  • Strong ability to support managers across a broad range of HR disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
