Your new role
As HSEQ Manager, you will lead the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality strategy across the site, while also supporting the broader people strategy in collaboration with HR. You will be responsible for building a high-performing, motivated team and driving continuous improvement aligned with group-wide operational and sustainability goals. Key responsibilities include leading and embedding a no-harm culture across all operational areas, ensuring compliance with UK H&S legislation and internal audit standards, managing quality assurance processes and resolving non-conformance issues, driving sustainability initiatives and reporting performance metrics. You will be supporting training, development, and succession planning within the HSEQ team and conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations and leading continuous improvement projects using structured methodologies.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have proven experience in a senior HSEQ leadership role within manufacturing or engineering, strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations and environmental compliance, experience in quality management systems and continuous improvement practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills and ability to coach and develop teams to deliver strategic objectives with relevant professional qualifications in HSEQ disciplines.
