Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a successful, FMCG manufacturer based in Leeds who are looking for a HSE Manager to join their business. We're now looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, environmental, and risk management across their two manufacturing sites. 

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Ensure full compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all relevant regulations.
  • Lead and improve our ISO 45001-certified Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
  • Oversee environmental performance and ISO 14001 implementation/maintenance.
  • Drive proactive risk management through robust assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to implement preventative actions.
  • Deliver impactful HSE training and communications to embed a strong safety culture.
  • Conduct and manage internal and external audits, liaising with regulators and insurers.
  • Report on KPIs and HSE performance to the senior leadership team, shaping strategic direction.
  • Support ESG and sustainability goals through energy, waste, and emissions management.
  • Inspire a culture of responsibility, engagement, and continual improvement across all levels.
I'm keen to speak to HSE Manager's with the following:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety management role within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Proven experience managing ISO 45001 and environmental systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Track record of improving safety culture and implementing lasting change.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Salary : 50000 - 60000
