Are you an experienced HSE manager with experience in a manufacturing environment, looking to join a market leading company who provide great progression opportunities and performance bonuses?

This company have been established for over 100 years, providing paperboard and packaging solutions to a wide range of industries, from carboard tubes and cores, to reels of solid board. This company prioritise continuously growing and modernising their depot, to stay on top of the competition, leading the UK market and exporting globally.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in HSE legislation and practices, with the ability to apply them to a growing and fast paced manufacturing papermill company. You will be ensuring site safety improvements and policy revisions across multiple divisions of the papermill. You will be ensuring the company meets its environmental policies and continuously improvements goals.

This role would suit an experienced HSE manager in the manufacturing sector, looking to progress their career in a growing papermill company who are looking to expand into the European markets and beyond.

The role:

• Lead, manage and continuously improve all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, systems, and practices.
• Ensure the business meets its environmental policy commitments and improves environmental performance,
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company standards.
• Work closely with managers and staff across all departments to promote a strong HSE culture.
• Develop and implement training programmes, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across health, safety, and environmental performance.

The Person:

• Experience in a HSE manager role in the manufacturing sector
• NEBOSH Certification
• Full UK driving licence
