Job Description :

Venn Group are delighted to be partnered with a religious based Charity to recruit a HR Systems & Payroll Partner on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid position that will support the HRIS system, assist with Payroll Admin and oversee HR Administration.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintain accurate employee data (e.g. starters, leavers, changes, pay updates)
  • Process approved HR transactions, ensuring compliance and correct workflows
  • Support CoreHR modules (absence, probation, learning, appraisals)
  • Liaise with HRBPs, Admin Partners, and Talent to keep records up to date
  • Conduct regular audits to fix errors, duplicates, or missing info
  • Support user queries (system access, data visibility/input issues)
  • Assist HRIS Manager with training, reports, testing, and upgrades
  • Manage HR processes: contracts, offers, starters, leavers, probation, induction
  • Ensure accurate employee records in CoreHR, meeting compliance standards
  • Track DBS, right-to-work, and reference checks
  • Prepare and validate payroll data for monthly submission
  • Coordinate with HRBP and Payroll Manager on pay-related updates
  • Handle routine payroll queries from staff and finance teams
  • Support calculations/reporting for SSP, SMP, SPP, pensions, etc
  • Assist with reconciliations, payslip checks, and compliance docs
  • Identify and resolve pay anomalies quickly and carefully
  • Support annual payroll cycle (P11Ds, P60s, audits)
  • Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and data protection at all times

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Detail-driven HR/Payroll Administrator with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Core HR)
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar HR environment
  • An understanding of Payroll Administration
