Our client is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join their team to play a pivotal role in recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS management, contributing to our mission of enhancing lives and places through quality procurement solutions.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, coordinating recruitment cycles, and maintaining our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Draft advertisements, liaise with hiring managers, and ensure all recruitment activities align with our branding guidelines and processes.
- Act as the primary contact for all applicants, arranging interviews, and providing feedback.
- Prepare offer letters and contracts, conduct pre-employment checks, and coordinate new staff orientations and mandatory training.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, ensuring GDPR compliance and data integrity.
- Provide general administrative support to the People and Culture team, manage the team email inbox, and assist in various HR projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced administrative role within a People/HR function.
- Skilled in recruitment administration from advert to onboarding.
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law and GDPR requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and proficient in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint).
- CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
