HR & Payroll Officer – Permanent – Full Time
- Salary: £33,000 - £38,000
- Location: Stockport
- Hours: 37.5 per week
Our client is seeking a dedicated HR & Payroll Officer to join their team on a Full-time Permanent basis.
This role will be split 50/50 between HR and Payroll.
Duties:
- Full oversight of Payroll for 1000 employees, 80/20 split on Hourly/Salaried employees
- Updating and supporting with Payroll submissions for foreign offices
- Generate payroll reporting for use across the business including reporting to finance
- Supporting employee administration including contract changes, reporting absences, managing references etc
- Annual Audit support
- Work collaboratively to support employee relations queries and casework. With ownership of general HR queries and escalating any complex queries or business risk
- You will be required to travel regularly to our various venues across the UK to provide on-site support to our teams and ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Achieved or working towards level 5 CIPD
- Experience of processing payrolls in a similar environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of tax and employment law/legislation
- Previous experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
