Swift Placements are proud to be working with an Ecommerce client based in Harrogate who are on the lookout for HR and Payroll Admin on a 1 Year FTC.

Contract Duration: 1 Year Fixed-Term Contract

Our Harrogate Client is seeking a dedicated HR and Payroll Admin to join their team for a one-year fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organisation's success and gain valuable experience in HR and payroll administration.

Job Overview:

As an HR and Payroll Admin, you will be responsible for supporting the HR and payroll functions of the organization. You will assist with various HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and payroll administration. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientations, preparing employment contracts, and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
  • Collate and report Monthly and Fortnightly data entry for payroll.
  • Assist with the training of new and temporary employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and databases, including personnel files, timesheets, and payroll information.
  • Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee relations activities, including conducting exit interviews, addressing employee grievances, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in HR and payroll administration, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Benefits:

Working hours- Full time and Part time hours will be considered.

Salary on offer: £22,000- £23,000 DOE!

Location: HG4

If you are after part time this must be Monday to Friday but shorter days (e.g. 10 till 2 or school hours).

Full Time: Monday- Friday

Hours: 9:00- 5:00pm
