Job Title: Temporary HR Officer
Location: BelfastContract Type: TemporaryDuration: OngoingWorking hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £30,458 - £31,097 (dependant on experience)
Reports To: HR Manager
Job Purpose:
The Temporary HR Officer will provide comprehensive support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance, and administrative functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with job postings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters and induction materials.
- Employee Relations & Support
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries from staff.
- Support managers with basic HR advice in line with company policies.
- HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.
- Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and reports.
- Compliance & Policy
- Ensure adherence to employment legislation and company policies.
- Assist with audits and reporting requirements.
- Other Duties
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an HR role (essential).
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
