Reed HR are excited to be working with a global international bank based in the city in a newly created and important HR manager within their well respected London Team for an exceptional HR Manager. The company are an impressive banking business with a strong presence in Asia-Pacific Region and track record of success. The Bank is now developing into the UK and EMEA market with a clear business plan and strategy for growth, starting with wholesale banking.

Main Job Descriptions:

  • To implement and maintain HR policies and procedures that create best practice and that are compliant with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • To delivery support to the Head of HR and stakeholders to ensure their understanding of the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • To assist the Head of HR on recruitment and candidate selection to ensure that the Bank is able to attract candidates of an appropriate calibre through comprehensive assignment briefs to agencies, and ensure a smooth recruitment process up to offer stage
  • Development and maintain an induction programme that will ensure new hires receive the information they require to quickly integrate into the business.
  • Implement initiatives to promote the engagement of employees in order to achieve high level business performance including development of the Bank’s corporate culture, performance management and communications, and to manage conflict, discipline and grievance resolution
  • Create an annual learning and development plan and work with business areas to identify the learning and development activities required
  • To assist the Head of HR to manage remuneration and benefits to ensure that the Bank is able to attract and retain its employees
  • To manage relationship with benefits suppliers and brokers
  • Work closely with business leaders on all ER work
  • To ensure the efficient delivery of the monthly  payroll process via their 3rd party provider and to ensure that payroll processes are compliant with legislation and HMRC regulations.

Skills Required:

  • Holding a degree of Human Resources Management or equivalent or Holding a CIPD qualification or qualified by experience
  • HR operations experience preferably in banking or financial institutions
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • Skilled user of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SMFs and relevant training preferred
  • Strong Employee law knowledge or Employee relationship

Salary : 70000 - 85000
