An established and fast-growing organisation in Sidcup is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join its HR leadership team. With a strong reputation in its industry and a people-first culture, the business prides itself on offering a collaborative, flexible, and supportive working environment—one that retains a close-knit, family feel while scaling rapidly.As HR Manager you will lead HR operations across the business, ensuring alignment with wider commercial objectives. This is a hands-on, generalist role that covers the full employee lifecycle, employee relations, organisational development, talent acquisition, and compliance. Key duties:
- Oversee onboarding, contracts, vetting, and induction processes
- Collaborate with recruitment functions to ensure delivery of the right talent
- Advise and coach managers on HR policy and UK employment law
- Support performance management, appraisals, and employee development
- Handle complex employee relations issues including restructures, redundancy, TUPE, and employment tribunals
- Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Analyse workforce data and contribute to people-related KPIs and decision-making
- Contribute to L&D strategy, including content delivery where needed
- Support audits and ensure HR policy compliance across the group
The successful candidate:
- At least 3 years' HR management experience
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Commercial awareness and ability to align HR with business goals
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
