My client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to work alongside the Head of People, delivering HR projects and managing day-to-day operational people matters. This role is pivotal in fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment and driving the firm’s HR initiatives.
Day to Day of the role:
- Line management of the HR Officer, promoting a team-oriented and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with the Head of People to develop an HR data dashboard, providing key HR metrics to support decision-making and identify improvement areas.
- Manage a full range of employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, payroll, pensions, performance management, internal movements, and leavers.
- Conduct exit interviews and review HR processes and policies to ensure legal compliance and maintain excel/ISO accreditation.
- Coordinate the trainee lifecycle in partnership with the Training Partner.
- Assist in managing the annual salary review, bonus process, and benefits administration.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for HR queries, offering high-quality advice and managing employee relations casework with empathy.
- Undertake return to work interviews, report on absence patterns, and support HR projects and services as required.
- Engage in continuous professional development and provide absence cover for the HR Officer.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Significant experience in a managerial or advisory HR role.
- BA/BSc or Level 5 qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- CIPD qualification is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with all firm levels.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with colleagues.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current and upcoming employment legislation.
- Numerical literacy and proficiency with spreadsheets.
- Line management experience and a background in professional services.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and excellent IT skills, including HRIS.
- A progressive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continual learning.
