Reed HR are working with an Education establishment in recruiting an HR Generalist on a full time permanent basis.

We are seeking an HR Generalist to provide high-quality professional advice and support on all HR-related matters within a reputable Educational trust. The ideal candidate will work proactively with leadership to enhance performance, manage staff absence, and support in managing staff behaviour in accordance with organisational procedures. This role is key in promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion across all recruitment, learning, and development activities.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Offer professional HR advice and support to managers and staff.
  • Proactively work with leaders to improve organisational performance.
  • Manage staff absence, including administrative support and absence management control.
  • Support in managing staff behaviour in line with organisational procedures and facilitate investigations as needed.
  • Deliver great candidate experiences and promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Assist staff with performance management and development processes.
  • Train managers on interview evaluation techniques and change management.
  • Create and deliver engaging learning experiences for staff.
  • Lead the induction process for new staff.
  • Work effectively with the HR Admin Assistant to ensure all HR processes are up to date.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in HR advisory or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work proactively.
  • Experience in delivering training and development programs.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
  • Commitment to promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
