HR DIRECTOR – INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT £850 to £950 per day 1 year contract
A leading global Investment Manager are hiring an HR Director in London, to provide strategic HR partnership to senior leaders & teams, in talent development, employee relations, culture, diversity & managing the annual talent processes. Experience in a large, global financial or fintech organisation would be ideal.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the design and execution of talent projects
- Provide advice and guidance on various topics including performance management, leadership development, compensation, succession planning, coaching, and talent reviews.
- Work on high-impact engagement activities, with an emphasis on employee experience and DEI-related initiatives.
- Partner with managers and recruiting to develop hiring plans that support business objectives and advance the business.
- Establish effective partnership with business leaders to influence talent decisions by providing tailored advice and leveraging expertise.
- Drive informed decision-making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine issue root causes and develop effective solutions.
- Understand take a leadership role in the Rewards Philosophy, through proactive consultation with the client partnership with the compensation team to drive a meritocracy.
- Partner with HR functional teams such as Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, etc. to execute on business priorities and solutions.
Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of HR business partner or generalist experience, ideally in a high volume environment working closely with leaders and employees.
- Ability to use data analytics in generating insights and presenting findings back to the business, as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data.
- Demonstrated experience influencing building strong and trusted relationships and networks.
- Ability to execute firm-wide talent initiatives with excellence in a fast paced, global corporate environment; commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills; ability to articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire trust and openness amongst colleagues and clients together with a reputation for high personal integrity.
- Expertise building consensus on a cross-functional basis.
- Facilitation skills, including fostering creativity in solution design
- A highly motivated, energising attitude that inspires others to seek higher levels of performance.
- Strong analytical skills and experience driving compensation processes across a range of comp structures. Ability to prioritise and multi-task on various talent initiatives
- Entrepreneurial and creative, able to deliver results from concept to execution
- Highly collaborative and collegial approach to engaging employees at all levels
£850 to £950 per day (umbrella paye rate inside IR35)
