HR Coordinator - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyYou will be working for a non-for-profit organisation based in Stafford on a temporary contract. Your new roleAs a People Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for people-related queries, providing timely advice and support while ensuring compliance with policies and legislation. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and contributing to a positive employee experience.Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice and guidance
• Manage the HR inbox and delegate queries appropriately
• Support casework and maintain accurate HRIS records
• Coordinate DBS and driver checks
• Issue contracts and manage onboarding documentation
• Ensure GDPR compliance and data accuracy
• Assist with payroll processing and employee lifecycle changes
• Support recruitment campaigns and Occupational Health coordination
• Process pensions auto-enrolment and purchase orders
• Contribute to the delivery of the People Plan

What you'll need to succeed

• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above)
• CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience (desirable)
• Minimum 12 months experience in a busy HR environment
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
• Understanding of employment legislation and confidentiality
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

What you'll get in returnThe hourly rate for this role is £13.91 plus holiday pay. The standard working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00. This role does offer hybrid working. The role is temporary until November 2025 with the possibility of extension.
