Job Description :

I'm looking for a HR Business Partner who thrives on building strong relationships, solving complex people challenges, and driving a consistent, people-first approach to HR. If you're passionate about employee relations, change management, and delivering a high-quality HR service, this role offers the chance to partner with senior leaders and influence the culture of a growing, multi-site organisation.

This is a hands-on position where you'll work closely with a client group of around 850, providing expert guidance on HR issues while supporting the delivery of strategic people initiatives. Your expertise in employment law, employee relations, and organisational change will help ensure a compliant, fair, and forward-thinking workplace.

Duties:

  • Advise managers on HR matters including performance, conduct, sickness, and family leave
  • Support formal processes such as disciplinary, grievance, and capability procedures
  • Partner with senior leaders on people matters, including restructures and TUPE transfers
  • Provide clear guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Support HR administration for onboarding and employee documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong HR background, ideally in a multi-site, customer-focused environment such as property, retail, or hospitality
  • Proven experience managing employee relations and advising on complex HR cases
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, trusted by managers and employees alike
  • CIPD Level 5+ and a solid understanding of UK employment law
  • Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach with a drive for continuous improvement

Desirable:

  • Dealt with up to 20 ER cases at any one time
  • Led on or supported with a TUPE transfer
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated sector
  • Knowledge of HR systems and data reporting
  • Exposure to organisational change projects
