HR Business Partner

- Duration: Until at least 9 December 2025, with potential extension
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team on an interim basis to cover a period of shared parental leave. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of high-quality HR services and contributing to our People Strategy. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of HR and have a direct line to the HR Director (HRD).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Head of HR to deliver a proactive, customer-focused HR service that aligns with the HR Service Delivery Model.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation to understand business objectives and performance drivers.
- Provide advice and guidance on workforce planning, recruitment, staff management, and development.
- Lead on HR policy development, MI reporting, and potentially specialist areas or improvement projects as needed.
- Manage a small team, ensuring effective line management and reporting key strategic outputs to the HRD regularly.
- Support recruitment campaigns from advertising to induction and manage ad hoc priority initiatives as required by the HRD.
- Contribute to HR analytics and ensure compliance with GDPR and other policy requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR business partnering role.
- Good line management experience is desirable.
- Member of the CIPD or equivalent HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR analytics and experience with Midland iTrent HR Information System is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and proactive approach to managing priorities.
