Thrive is looking for a motivated People & Culture Apprentice to join our friendly, forward-thinking team. Whether you’re early in your career or making a change, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing your CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (fully funded).

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll play a key role in supporting our People & Culture (P&C) team to deliver a great experience to our colleagues across Thrive.
  • Supporting the team with administration, organisation, and upkeep of internal systems and knowledge hubs.
  • Becoming a systems expert in our HR, Learning & Development, and Recruitment platforms.
  • Coordinating bookings and logistics for internal events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Tracking, reporting, and improving processes to enhance colleague experience.
  • Managing the People & Culture inbox and offering timely, helpful support to internal queries.
  • Creating and updating resources, guides, and trackers to support a self-service model.
  • Contributing to reporting and analysis to support the broader People agenda.

Learning & Development:

As an apprentice, you’ll receive dedicated time and support to:

  • Complete your CIPD qualification (Level 3 or 5) to a high standard.
  • Attend all study sessions, seminars and learning events (within reason).
  • Reflect on your learning and apply it to your work as your knowledge grows.

Requirements:

We’re looking for someone curious and committed to making a positive impact. We welcome people from a wide range of backgrounds.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in administration, planning or organising (in any setting).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A people-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work responsibly and handle confidential information.
  • A commitment to inclusion and treating others with respect.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience in a leadership or responsibility-based role (e.g. student council, voluntary roles).
  • Previous experience in a support, service, or people-focused position.
