Description

• Provide advice and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Oversee employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
• Manage and update employee records to ensure compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
• Support the onboarding and induction of new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organisation.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
• Contribute to the development of policies and practices that align with the company's culture and goals.

Profile

A successful HR and People Advisor should have:

• Previous experience in a Human Resources role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• A good understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
• Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office tools.
• CIPD qualification or working towards it would be advantageous.
