Description
- Provide expert guidance and support on HR policies and procedures to management and staff.
- Assist in employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Support the recruitment process, including co-ordinating interviews and overseeing onboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Advise on performance management processes and support managers in implementation.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of HR initiatives and programmes.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to ensure consistent practices across the organisation.
Furthermore you will have the opportunity to lead on projects including implementing employee review processes and driving employee engagement initiatives
Profile
A successful HR and People Advisor should have:
- A background in Human Resources, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
- Experience in providing advice on employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using HR systems such as Workday or similar
- The ability to build strong working relationships with employees and managers.
