Job Summary
We are seeking two meticulous and organised HR & Payroll Administrators to support the collation and submission of payroll-critical HR data and maintain the local time and attendance system for our Aerospace & Defence client.
This role is key to ensuring payroll accuracy, timely data processing, and effective communication with employees, managers, and the HR team. You will work closely with the payroll team in North Wales, meeting strict monthly cut-off dates and acting as the primary point of contact for all time and attendance queries.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, and a solid understanding of HR and payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- System Management: Administer and maintain the company’s time and attendance system (Google Appsheet).
- Data Accuracy: Accurately and promptly record employee hours, overtime, sickness, holidays, and other leave types.
- Query Resolution: Serve as first point of contact for all time and attendance queries, resolving issues efficiently.
- Reporting: Produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for payroll processing, management review, and HR analysis.
- Data Entry: Manage weekly/monthly data upload files, complete payroll input sheets, new hire forms, and other HR documents.
- Leave Management: Administer all types of leave including annual leave, sick leave, parental leave, and other authorised absences.
- Auditing: Investigate and resolve system error or warning messages to ensure accurate data processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in HR or payroll administration.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, proactive approach.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with time & attendance systems and Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Organisation: Strong ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving system and data issues.
- Confidentiality: High level of discretion when handling sensitive information.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with HRIS software.
- Experience with payroll administration.
- Strong data entry background.
