Job Description:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of domiciliary services, supported living schemes, and a new residential scheme.
- Ensure all care packages exceed fundamental standards and meet individual needs.
- Manage and support the line management of three service managers.
- Lead recruitment, training, and retention of staff, ensuring compliance with legal and best practice guidelines.
- Develop and oversee audits, action plans, and strategic decisions to enhance service quality.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and health boards.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements from CQC and prepare for Ofsted registration for supported living services.
- Handle budget management and strategic planning alongside the Registered Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations and human resource management within the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation including Health and Social Care Acts, Employment Law, and Data Protection.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations effectively.
- IT proficiency in Microsoft Office and care coordination software.
- Desirable: Level 5 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
