HR Analyst / Controller - Robert Walters : Job Details

We are working with a luxury retail brand in their search for a HR Analyst / Controller to provide support to the in house HR community on all matters relating to HR cost controlling (data, systems, processes, and reporting). A key part of the role is to be the custodian of all HR cost data, being the bridge between HR and Finance in relation to our global HR cost data. The role will report into the Head of Reward.

Hybrid working - 2 days per week in London

£45 - £50K

Experience required: Must have at least 2-3 years as a HR Analyst / Payroll Analyst supporting HR with their numerical data.

This role involves managing the budget and actual costs related to HR for the UK Corporate entity within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

Budget and Forecast Process:

• Input and submit HR cost budget for the UK Corporate entity.
• Coordinate global submissions and prepare variance reports.
• Communicate deadlines and requirements to HR teams.
• Analyze HR costs centrally and provide consolidated budget reports with commentary.

Monthly HR Actual Process:

• Manage monthly HR actual closing for the UK Corporate entity.
• Report any discrepancies to the UK HR Director and make necessary accruals/reversals.
• Ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify variances in HR actual costs and reconcile with finance system.

Other Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HR and Financial Controlling teams to analyze data and improve workforce performance.
• Continuously enhance HR cost controlling processes and reporting.
• Provide advice, training, and support on HR cost controlling system and reporting.
• Stay updated on market trends and legislative changes in HR cost controlling.
• Maintain financial organizations data in HR database.
• Support implementation of HR tools and projects.
• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
