Description
As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for;
- Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and line managers on a range of HR matters including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, absence management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Partner with management to understand workforce needs and develop tailored HR solutions that align with business objectives.
- Support the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires within the manufacturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and health and safety regulations specific to the manufacturing sector.
- Assist in managing employee relations issues, facilitating conflict resolution and promoting a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports on workforce metrics.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and operational effectiveness.
- Support the implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful HR Advisor will have:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Advisor, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and health & safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ideally CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail.
You must be able to work on-site 4x days per week, occasionally 5 days
