HR Advisor - Giving Back Recruitment : Job Details

We are looking for an HR Advisor to join a dynamic and supportive team for a leading organisation based in Uxbridge. You will play a key role in empowering managers and shaping positive people practices.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for managers, you’ll provide pragmatic and commercially focused HR advice across a wide range of employee relations (ER) matters. From absence management to complex casework, you’ll support managers in reaching fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes, all while fostering strong working relationships and promoting best practice.

You’ll also have the opportunity to:

• Advise on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance, capability, and flexible working requests.
• Support sickness absence management and occupational health referrals.
• Build constructive relationships with trade union representatives.
• Deliver training and coaching to managers on HR processes.
• Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards), or with significant HR Advisory experience.
• Skilled in handling complex ER issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Knowledgeable in employment law and best practice HR.
• Experienced in working with managers and, ideally, trade unions.
• An excellent communicator, able to draft clear and professional documentation.
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently with integrity and discretion.

Experience with HR systems such as iTrent would be highly desirable.
