Our client, a highly successful distributor now has an excellent opportunity for a HR Advisor to join their team.
Working closely with the Manager, duties include:
- Assist the Manager with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, ER, and offboarding.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and recommending appropriate actions.
- Coach managers equipping them with the confidence and tools to address and manage issues sensitively and in a timely manner.
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Update and maintain employee, absence, and holiday records.
- Track the Personal Development Review Process.
- Support with employee engagement activities.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role - ideally within a distribution or similar environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Enthusiastic team player, with a proactive approach, good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Organised, and capable of prioritising multiple tasks.
