Reed HR are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our client. This role involves providing comprehensive HR support to management and staff, ensuring effective employee relations, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide advice and assistance on HR policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Lead and advise on employee relations issues including disciplinary actions, grievances, absences, and probations to ensure they are resolved effectively.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal policies, guidelines, and processes to enhance the delivery of HR services.
- Offer reliable and trusted employment law advice to prevent legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review and update job descriptions to align with company needs and industry standards.
- Monitor key HR analytics, such as turnover and retention rates, to inform strategic HR decisions.
- Coordinate the performance review process, ensuring it is conducted fairly and consistently across your stakeholder group.
- Manage the onboarding process to provide an excellent employee experience from day one.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries within your stakeholder group, liaising with hiring managers, employees, and other HR team members.
- Implement and coordinate change management programs to support organizational development and transformation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in managing employee relations issues and HR projects.
- Proficient in HR systems and comfortable with data analysis.
- CIPD Qualified
