Job Title: People Advisor

Location: Colchester | Hybrid working available

Hours: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about making a real difference? We’re looking for a People Advisor to provide expert, proactive support to managers across a multi-site organisation. If you're confident navigating complex employee relations, love coaching others, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—this could be your next step.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing expert HR advice and coaching to managers on all employee matters
• Handling a wide range of ER issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
• Analysing exit data and helping to drive down turnover
• Supporting employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives
• Delivering HR training and contributing to continuous improvement of policies
• Visiting sites and building strong relationships with managers across the business
• Staying up to date with employment law and HR best practice

What you’ll bring:

• Strong HR generalist experience, ideally in a multi-site environment
• Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation
• Experience managing complex casework and investigations
• Confidence to influence and support managers at all levels
• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable
• A positive, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
