We're seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support with employee relations matters during a busy period. This 6-month assignment in the Reading area offers the chance to make a real impact by supporting a collaborative HR team.

Description

• Provide expert advice on employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution
• Support managers with casework and ensure fair, consistent application of policies
• Help reduce ER caseload pressure across the team
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth HR operations during a peak period

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

• CIPD-qualified or equivalent experience in HR
• Strong background in employee relations casework
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and manage sensitive issues with discretion
• Experience in the education or public sector is a plus
