As a pivotal member of the HR department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and cultivating a fair and supportive work environment for all employees.Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor role:
  • Providing expert guidance on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, encompassing recruitment, termination, discrimination, harassment, and employee relations.
  • Reviewing and updating company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with prevailing employment legislation and best practices.
  • Conducting investigations into employee complaints and grievances and offering fair and impartial resolutions.
  • Collaborating with management to devise strategies for effective conflict resolution and employee engagement.
  • Staying abreast of changes in employment law and proactively advising stakeholders on potential organisational impacts.
  • Delivering training sessions to managers and employees on pertinent employment law topics.
Requirements of the HR Advisor role:
  • CIPD qualified, ideally level 5 or working towards level 5.
  • Extensive familiarity with employment legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience providing HR support with a focus on employment law in either a corporate or legal context.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles to practical scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • It would be an advantage if you have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
