HR Advisor

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
Macmillan Davies are delighted to once again be partnering with this global healthcare business in their search for a HR Advisor to join their site based in Leeds. You will be joining an organisation that is passionate about both their employees and to also making a positive impact to people's health around the world. You will operate in a stand-alone capacity as the sole HR person on-site, in a manufacturing type setting, but you will work closely with the wider HR team based at other locations. This is a full-time position, with flexibility on start/finish times and applications for a reduced working week will also be considered.
About the role:
- Providing first line generalist HR advice on employment law, HR policies and procedures.
- Managing employee relations cases from start to finish including sickness/absence, disciplinary, investigations, grievances.
- Coaching, guiding and upskilling managers.
- Ensuring an efficient and effective recruitment service and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
- Support on the full employee life cycle
- Collate and produce regular HR reporting metrics
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Strong HR Advisory experience gained in a generalist role including employee relations
- Experience of working in manufacturing/supply chain (or similar blue-collar industry) would be preferred
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders
- Resilience and ability to influence effectively
- A collaborative and team focused approach
