We have a very exciting opportunity for a HR ADVISOR, based in Manchester City centre for a very dynamic and forward-thinking company within the Facilities Management Space. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right candidate with strong HR experience, within an operational capacity to further their career.

Scope

To be instrumental in the growth and development of an industry-leading, privately-owned commercial Real Estate company.

Within the HR and People function, this role will take ownership of a Facilities Management division within the company. Reporting into the Group HR Manager, you remit will be to own all off recruitment, payroll, Employee Relations etc. within the team. In essence, this will act as a stand-lone HR role.

You will work closely with the Group HR Manager to align the momentum of the business with that of the wider Group, but also directly with the Operations Manager and the relevant "Heads Of" functions to create a collaborative, consistent approach to HR.

You will support the HR Administrator in their learning and development and take ownership of the training and development of new roles within the HR function.

Main Duties

  • Work with local Hiring Managers to understand the needs of their requirements and create a job description to match
  • Using a direct approach and, when needed, recruitment agencies, identify and source strong candidates for each role
  • Constantly striving to create improvements in the recruitment approach
  • Creating, sending and receiving the Offer Letters and Contracts of Employment for all successful candidates in conjunction with the Group HR Manager, taking complete ownership of all staff across multiple locations
  • Ensuring that the information on the CRM system is accurate and in line with your understanding - it is your responsibility to keep a constant communication with the HR Administrator in order to meet this
  • Owning all ER cases, helping Managers with day-to-day issues, and coaching all Line Managers in how to deliver effective, and constructive, feedback
  • You will be the ultimate decision maker for all ER and Disciplinary/Grievance cases utilising the support from the Group HRM as and when required - you will need to be accountable for your actions and their alignment with the relevant employment legislation
  • Ensuring that all contracts and relevant Data Collection Tools are issued to all New Starters and, where required by the Group HR Manager.
  • Ensuring that the collection, handling, and retention of employee personal data is compliant with relevant data protection legislation
  • Management of all TUPE transfers, incorporating all of pre-transfer data gathering, consultations, and post-transfer activities - with support from the Group HR Manager and relevant "Head Of"
  • The development and refinement of all HR policies and procedures in line with the trajectory of the Group
  • Reporting into the Group HR Manager with key KPIs and actions taken.
  • Ownership of all reporting and audits within HR

Requirements and Skills

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified and/or working towards an equivalent qualification
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Packages to intermediate level
  • Geographic flexibility to travel to business space, centres and company offices
  • A positive, can-do mindset and ability to problem solve
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • A track record of successful recruitment campaigns

Salary : 30000 - 35000
