HR Administrator / PA

Top Tier - City Investment Firm

£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Our client is a highly regarded international investment management firm who work from stunning offices in the heart of the city. They are recruiting a HR Administrator / PA to work alongside the HR Manager & HR Director supporting them in all aspects of a busy HR function. You will work with the business Heads of Department across a diverse day.

No 2 days are the same therefore requires a competent, well organised, hands on "can do" approach.

We require you have worked in either investment management, banking, or equity markets to have an understanding of how the business operates.

The role works across:

Recruitment - Compensation & Benefits - Training & development activities - HR secretarial support.

  • Liaising with recruitment agencies, reception and line managers to co-ordinate CV reviews and feedback, testing and interviews.
  • Assist the Senior HR Advisor with the production of offer documentation and associated paperwork and action new starter processes, pre-employment checks, pre-employment medicals.
  • On boarding process: new starter records / employee background checks / induction
  • Set up new starter records on the inhouse HR systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of employee records in relation to benefits.
  • Assist with the preparation of benefits information.

Training & Development

  • Book staff onto courses and produce Training Sponsorship agreements
  • Co-ordinate the evaluation of any training undertaken
  • Assist with the maintenance of training records and plans
  • Assist with the annual Training and Competence Review

General

  • Maintenance and personnel updates to the HRIS
  • Assist with the administration related to employee's leaving the Company.
  • Updating holiday and sickness absence records as required
  • Assist in the production, co-ordination and recording of documentation relating to the annual performance review process.
  • Production of correspondence and scanning and filing, as required.
  • Assist with the arrangements for the annual work experience programme
  • Administration of HR and Finance expenses
  • Assistance with the organisation of Company social events
  • Assistance with internal meeting arrangements
  • Involvement in project work e.g. SMCR. GDPR as needed.

Regulatory Control

  • Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering - ensure documentation if in place.

As HR Administrator you will have:

  • HR Administrator with experience in a similar role, working within investment management, banking or equity markets or similar.
  • Demonstrate HR experience within a Financial Services Administration Experience
  • Good Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proactive and forward-thinking approach with confidence to work at all levels.
  • Friendly approachable personality with 'can do' attitude and willingness to put hand up and take on additional tasks.
