HR Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our team in the public sector based in Canary Wharf. This role offers flexibility with options for both full-time and part-time arrangements. The position is temporary but ongoing, providing a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their HR experience in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the administration of day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc).
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc).
- Communicate with public services when necessary.
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- PC literacy (MS Office, in particular).
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS.
- Basic knowledge of labour laws.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communications skills.
