  • Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days at home.
  • Hours: 35 hours a week 9am - 5pm (Flexible around core working hours)
  • Salary: £13.73 per hour

My client based in Watford, is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join their team. The HR Administrator will handle a variety of administrative processes and tasks, including sensitive employee and company information, requiring a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. You must have solid experience in an HR role previously, specifically within the onboarding/offboarding of employees and an understanding of HR systems and processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Initiate and monitor the administration of onboarding and/or offboarding processes to ensure that all processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
  • Organise and prepare complex documents using a variety of systems and applications and gather and summarise data for special reports.
  • Deliver accurate and timely processing of information to support the payroll process.
  • Build effective working relationships, delivering high-quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Support and maintain the integrity of data in the HR information system.
  • Resolve queries from internal customers by providing appropriate employee information, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy and ensuring adherence to data protection and company data access guidelines.
  • Maintain an understanding of job-related systems and technology.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, codes of ethics, and mandatory instructions; identify and report risks.
  • Maintain accurate systems and records, accessing, updating, and deleting data for legitimate work purposes only, and take appropriate steps to protect data, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of HR forms or questionnaires to ensure relevant data is collected in line with defined requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years of general experience, demonstrating the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Technical proficiency in people processes and familiar with HR systems.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and the ability to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Proven ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organisation moving forward.
  • Accountability to meet commitments.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Willingness to learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning opportunities.
  • Ability to interpret and apply key financial indicators to make better business decisions.
