HR & Compliance Administrator

- We have an exciting opportunity to work for one of our local clients as a HR & Compliance Administrator to provide essential administrative and compliance support across our business. This role is crucial for managing HR processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting the rollout of our new HR software system, Odoo. The successful candidate will maintain compliance with ISO standards and ensure efficient administrative operations.
Day-to-day of the role:

HR Compliance & Support:
- Manage all areas of HR administration to ensure robust and compliant processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and training.
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records in compliance with GDPR.
- Support formal HR processes such as probation reviews, disciplinary, and grievance administration.
- Assist with the transition to the Odoo HR system, including data input, testing, and user support.

HR System & IT Capability:
- Act as a key user for the Odoo HR software, supporting implementation, updates, and reporting.
- Train team members in the effective use of digital systems and monitor compliance tasks and deadlines.

ISO and Management System Support:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS), supporting compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Support documentation control, audit preparation, and corrective action tracking.

General Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to Directors and the Senior Leadership Team, including scheduling meetings, managing diaries, and organizing filing systems.
- Coordinate internal meetings, training sessions, and company-wide events.
- Support GDPR compliance by maintaining data registers and assisting with audits.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Collaborate with all departments to uphold a professional and compliant working environment.
- Provide cover and assistance across administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative, HR, or compliance support role.
- Confidence with IT systems and a comfort level with learning new software. Experience with Odoo or similar HR platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory environments including HR, H&S, GDPR, and ISO standards.
