My client in Exeter is looking for a HR Administrator to work initially for two months within their busy and fast paced team.
Due to the implementation of a new system the team are working through a backlog of work that needs sorting asap. This role will be based in the office for the duration of the assignment; hours of work are 8-6 but there is some flexibility for the right role.
Duties will include but not be limited to-
- Processing Contract Letters: Prepare, manage, and distribute employment contracts and related documentation for new hires. Ensure that all contracts are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Filing: Maintain and organise both digital and physical HR files to ensure that employee records are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements. Regularly audit files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Document Management: Handle sensitive employee documentation, such as personal identification, background checks, and confidentiality agreements. Ensure all documents are collected, recorded, and stored securely.
- Email Management: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries via email. Manage correspondence with employees, department heads, and external partners to address inquiries and disseminate important information.
- General Administrative Support: Assist with the coordination of HR projects and events, such as training sessions and company-wide meetings. Support the HR team with data entry, schedule management, and the preparation of HR reports.
Although HR experience is not essential it is desirable that candidate have worked within a busy administration role or similar.
