HR Administrator

An esteemed company in Essex, renowned for delivering HR services for over 20 years, is seeking an HR Administrator. This role is a stepping stone for those aiming to become an HR Advisor and potentially an HR Consultant. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, passionate about HR, and eager to learn and grow. They will be instrumental in using proprietary HR software to support a diverse client base.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform a broad range of outsourced HR administration services, including the preparation of contracts and updating employee databases.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company’s HR software for client support, troubleshooting, and content updates.
- Draft and provide guidance on HR documents such as employee handbooks and contracts of employment.
- Offer support to consultants and clients, managing correspondence, email monitoring, and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships through effective communication and regular courtesy calls.
- Present the company’s HR products to prospects and discuss the range of services offered.
- Engage in continuous learning and development to provide informed advice on HR matters.
- Provide general administrative support as required.

- A strong commitment to accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
- Robust administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to build relationships with clients.
- A proactive approach to learning and advising on HR matters.
- Proficiency in HR software and databases.
- An understanding of employment law, particularly in relation to contracts of employment.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of the SME market.
