We are a dedicated charity seeking an HR Administrator with a focus on recruitment and onboarding to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process, and providing a warm welcome to new team members. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for people and a desire to contribute to a meaningful cause.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and processed.
- Maintain and update HR databases with employee information, records, and documentation.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives, such as training and development programs.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance as needed.
- Liaise with departments and provide support on HR matters.
- Facilitate employee engagement and retention activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
- Experience with recruitment processes and onboarding new employees.
- Familiarity with HR software and databases.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge of employment/labour laws.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
