Derby (Hybrid, 2/3 days split) Up to £30,000

Are you an experienced HR professional who can hit the ground running?I am looking for a proactive and organised HR Admin to join a close-knit HR team supporting a well-established Derby-based manufacturing business.This is a 12-month maternity cover contract with the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of HR activities perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and making an impact from day one.Responsabilities:

• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process: from advertising and agency liaison through to offers, contracts, onboarding, and checks (DBS/BPSS).
• Supporting HR operations including contracts, benefits administration, company car fleet, healthcare, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Assisting payroll colleagues with processes.
• Providing HR administration and support across the Derby site and wider business.
• Acting as a key point of contact within a collaborative and supportive HR team.

Experience:

• Previous HR/recruitment coordination experience.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
• A confident communicator who enjoys being part of a team.
• Someone immediately available or on a short notice period is ideal.
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable with variety.
