Housing Support Officer required

Contract type: Perm

Hours: Full Time

Location: Birmingham  

Pay: £14 ph  

Venn Group are looking for a Housing Officer for a Housing Charity in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting people in independent living environments
• Signposting service users to other organisations
• Safeguarding all service users
• Advising Service Users on issues such as benefits and access to healthcare
• Assisting with housing applications and benefit applications
• Assessing risks and ensuring Service Users accommodation is safe and secure
• Developing and maintaining working relationships with Service Users whilst maintaining professional boundaries
• Supporting Service Users when moving on
• Preparing rooms for incoming Service Users
• Ensured that all documentation relating to our supported housing is always up to date

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstratable experience in a similar role
• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS
• Own vehicle
