Housing Support Officer - i2i Recruitment Consultancy : Job Details

What you’ll do

• Daily well being checks & quick follow-ups
• Provide support plans, telecare tests & light audits
• Team up with services to solve problems fast
• Welcome new residents and complete inductions.
• Work with colleagues and agencies to help residents with issues such as health, behaviour, or tenancy problems.
• Keep tidy, GDPR-friendly notes on the housing system
• Host the odd coffee morning and jump on urgent issues
• Report and follow up on repairs, health & safety checks, or emergencies.
• Respond calmly and appropriately in urgent situations.

You’ll bring

• Housing/support or community work experience
• Safeguarding & H&S awareness (and calm under pressure)
• Empathy, great communication, solid judgement when lone-working
• HMS/IT confidence
• DBS: Basic/Enhanced may be required (we’ll help)

Helpful extras

• Cheltenham
• Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm
• Temporary (4 weeks with the possibility to extend)
• Needs to hold a full clean driving license
