We’re thrilled to continue our collaboration with a leading independent broking group as they further strengthen their presence in South Yorkshire. As part of their continued investment in the region, we’re now seeking a talented HNW Account Manager to join the team, focusing on the servicing and retention of a well-established portfolio of high-net-worth and personal lines clients.
About the RoleIn this client-centric role, you’ll be instrumental in managing and nurturing relationships with personal and HNW clients. Your focus will be on delivering tailored insurance solutions, overseeing renewals, and ensuring each client’s evolving needs are met with expert guidance and care. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of HNW and personal lines clients
Manage a book of business generating approximately £200k in income (80% HNW/Connected, 20% Personal Lines)
Act as the primary point of contact for clients—handling queries, providing expert advice, and supporting them throughout the policy lifecycle
Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure policies remain aligned with clients' current needs
Identify and pursue new business opportunities via referrals, networking, and word-of-mouth
Manage timely and accurate renewals, ensuring policies reflect any changes in circumstances
Negotiate competitive terms with insurers on behalf of clients
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal insurance products and relevant compliance regulations
Experience in a customer-facing role within the insurance industry, ideally within personal lines or private clients
A solid understanding of personal insurance products (e.g. home, motor, travel)
Familiarity with insurance systems such as Acturis (or similar platforms)
Awareness of FCA compliance and Consumer Duty obligations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset
Well-organised and proactive, with the ability to manage a busy portfolio effectively
A collaborative team player with a passion for delivering outstanding service
Willingness to work towards professional qualifications (support is provided)
Basic salary up to £35,000
