We’re working with a well-regarded secondary school in Northwich that is seeking a dynamic and committed educator to join their Humanities department on a temporary full-time basis for the autumn term.
About the Role:
- Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for GCSE exam preparation.
- Deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
- Support students in developing historical skills such as source analysis, essay writing, and chronological understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.
- Participate in school life, including parents’ evenings and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching History in a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt quickly in a temporary role.
