We’re working with a well-regarded secondary school in Northwich that is seeking a dynamic and committed educator to join their Humanities department on a temporary full-time basis for the autumn term.

• Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for GCSE exam preparation.
• Deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
• Support students in developing historical skills such as source analysis, essay writing, and chronological understanding.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in school life, including parents’ evenings and extracurricular activities where appropriate.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching History in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt quickly in a temporary role.
