Job Title: Biomedical Support Worker (Band 2)

Location: Immunology SWLP St. George's Hospital or St. Heliers Hospital

Start Date: April 2, 2024

End Date: 3 Months

Flexible shifts available: Monday to Friday, either 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and weekends with the same hours

Overview:

Join our team as a Biomedical Support Worker and contribute to delivering exceptional healthcare services at Immunology SWLP St. George's Hospital or St. Heliers Hospital. We're seeking motivated individuals passionate about healthcare to join us in this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Unpack and process diagnostic specimens accurately.
• Book samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) with precision.
• Provide crucial support to our Biomedical Scientists team.
• Pack sendaway specimens meticulously for safe transportation.

Requirements:

• Experience with Pathology Computer Systems: Winpath, NPEX, Telepath, cITm.
• Proactive with excellent attention to detail.
• Passion for contributing to healthcare excellence.
