Are you an experienced Histology Biomedical Scientist looking for your next opportunity? Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently recruiting for a passionate and skilled BMS to join a well-established NHS laboratory in Ipswich.

As a key member of the Histology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic services, supporting pathology investigations, and working within a collaborative and professional environment.

• Undertake routine and complex histological techniques including embedding, microtomy, staining (manual & automated)

• Cut sections with precision and adhere to quality control procedures

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

• Participate in departmental audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with consultants and lab teams to ensure timely turnaround of results

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist

• Minimum of 6 months UK experience in a Histology setting (NHS experience preferred)

• Competent in microtomy, embedding, and use of automated staining platforms

• Experience working at Band 6 or 7 level

• Excellent communication and team-working skills
